Southeast Pain Care at CMC-Pineville opened its doors in April 1999. The pain management clinic is located very close to CMC-Pineville Hospital. Southeast Pain Care has a patient waiting room, seven exam rooms, a procedure room with a C-arm, a recovery room, and necessary office and billing space.
Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville, established in 1987, has 109 beds and is currently undergoing some $300 million worth of construction projects that will add about 450,000 square feet of new or renovated space, plus 97 additional beds. These enhancements will transform CMC-Pineville into a leading tertiary care center, building on a comprehensive array of services that includes an open heart surgery program, comprehensive surgical services, and one of the community's busiest obstetrical units.
