Dr. Romanoff has been with Southeast Anesthesiology Consultants, the parent company of Southeast Pain Care, since 1993. He serves on the Controlled Substance Reporting Service Advisory Board for the NC Department of Health and Human Services and the University of North Carolina-Charlotte Advisory Board for the Department of Applied Ethics. Dr. Romanoff has assisted the American Board of Anesthesiology as an oral board examiner since 1994. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Medical Association, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, International Anesthesia Research Society, Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, North Carolina Society of Anesthesiologists, North Carolina Medical Society, Mecklenburg Medical Society, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Romanoff is also past president of the Mecklenburg County Medical Society.
