Southeast Pain Care at Morehead Medical Plaza is located in the Carolinas HealthCare System medical building adjacent to Carolina Medical Center. Formerly Southeast Pain Care-CMC because of its location inside the hospital, it originally opened its doors in 1997. A few years ago, the pain management center moved across the street to Morehead Medical Plaza. We have a waiting room, ten patient exam rooms, two procedure rooms with C-arm, and a recovery room.

Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is the flagship facility of Carolinas HealthCare System. As one of North Carolina's largest hospitals, it serves as the regional referral center for western North Carolina and northern South Carolina. The hospital is one of only five facilities in North Carolina designated as an Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospital and a Level I Trauma Center. It operates a number of specialized centers and institutes, bringing together some of the finest medical personnel in the country to treat patients with specific diagnoses.
